This centre impulses an international dynamic throughout the school. It organizes collaboration between professionals in industrial design, students and teachers, and promotes links with other specialist fields. It also coordinates teaching for foreign language accreditation as well as input from foreign experts.
Its role is to promote and coordinate exchanges of students and teachers through internships (university and professional) and seminars with foreign participants versed in industrial design and related fields.
Integration of foreign exchange students
Each year thirty or so foreign exchange students are selected to spend a semester at the school. A written agreement and a Study Contract are drawn up between ENSCI and the partner institution. The school currently has 80 partner schools and universities throughout the world. Candidates are often pre-selected by their own school or university. They are then invited to send an application (letter of interest, personal work) for selection at ENSCI which occurs twice a year (mid-May and mid-November).
A good level of French is required to enable each student to fully integrate the academic and social life of the School.
